Rosé really Rocks!

Since 2015 the South African ‘Rosé Rocks!' competition has been seeking out the best South African rosé wines and award them with either Double Gold or Gold Status.

"Rosé is one of the fastest growing categories of wine in South Africa and internationally. In South Africa alone, sales have grown annually in double digits in the last few years. This is exciting for consumers and winemakers alike, and there's no doubt about it, rosé wines have sex appeal!" - Rosé Rocks!

This year our Swedish Export Zola Pinotage Rosé was awarded Double Gold at the annual Rosé Rocks! Awards. A crisp and fresh rosé with notes of strawberries, raspberries and herbs that refreshes with each sip. Sugar and acidity both balance perfectly at 6 g/l with an alcohol percentage of 13%.

Not far behind was our Du Toitskloof Selected Vineyards Pinotage Rosé that came home with a Gold award. Also packed with raspberry, strawberry and red-berry flavours, this wine is dry, fruity and perfect for summery afternoons and champagne breakfasts!

This year the judging panel consisted out of leading man Allan Mullins as well as 5 other judges.
